First of all, you should know that placing your boat in front of Beetle's shop ship and then leaving will cause him to push your boat. With that information, sail to Dragon Roost Island and go to the shrine where you learned the song that would let you change wind patterns. Sail directly to the shore and go somewhat to the right, or eastward, whearas you're still on the sand. Leave your boat there and retreat.
